THE MORE WE DO, THE MORE WE CAN DO
Hurricane Katrina landed in New Orleans in August of 2005. Our team drove down to repair what we could in the week we were there. Time was spent repairing or replacing roofs, drywall and mold removal.
Walker Harbor Church, out of Walker, Michigan, is sponsoring and helping build a new church in the city of Los Pocitos, Nicaragua.
Compassion International helps sponsor children in poverty all over the world. We fell in love with a girl named Fassika, who comes from a family of 9 children, living in impoverished conditions and is expected to care for her siblings.
Our team traveled down to the Dominican Republic to build a local churh and shelter for a community in need. Time was spent working, playing with local children, and gathering with the community.
The team traveled to Rehoboth, New Mexico to frame a new home for a family in need.
We will be working with local mission efforts to repair homes for families in West Michigan and cities in Northern Michigan.
Support of a missionary, orginally from Grand Rapids, who moved his family to Mexico in order to help a community in need. Their primary need is an addition to a school.
